Maybe worth noting Speaker Johnson won't likely seat the new Congress if D's take any, to assist in their plan to throw the Presidential election results to a House vote, and ultimately, scotus.
The GOP House caucus hasn't been able to act unilaterally or cohesively for anything substantive, nor will they all be on board with keeping Johnson, essentially having to hold their noses collectively to choose him the last time--eventually.
I can see such an act used to delay things, though that wouldn't last more than a day if even a day based on past precedent.
