What I Learned From Watching Hacker Wars

A Series On Misinformation, Disinformation and Subterfuge

Associate producer’s Joe Fionda’s documentary Hacker Wars has been on my list of need to watch stuff for awhile as this sort of self-promoting garbage generally has a few behavioral tells, or foundational principles one needs to know about.

This one, near the end of the film, explains why Yonder hires/uses primarily “anonymous” accounts to troll and control people on Social Media.

The Agency above that GG is referring to are the Feds not Yonder; however, it might as well be the company that studied, adapted and adopted these strategies into it’s social narrative building, private espionage and targeting of American citizens silencing and controlling them. Susan Portnoy as an example, does this constantly likely keeping large dossiers on targets she has tracked since 2016 on behalf of the trolling industrialized complex.

Yonder incidentally hired this next guy for most of 2019 to run stuff on social media paying him 3.5K per month for 15 hours of work under Louise Mensch and Richie Guinn.

I will note that most of the documentary featured quite a bit of RT, Russia Today stuff, the foreign Media company that weaponized propaganda to harm America, similarly purposeful as the documentary meant to make criminal behavior look cool.

Let’s note a few of the players and how Joe Fionda set them up to look like.

Hackavist. That is a fancy word for a person that illegally breaks into stuff, steals, then publishes that to embarrass people. What the documentary claims that the criminal part of what these people did can be ignored because they also found stuff among the stolen materials that exposed other’s wrong doing. Both Jeremy Hammond and Weev spent significant time in prison for their crimes, each leaving the US after release.

Hacking companies then sharing the stolen data hurting all of that company’s customers isn’t trolling. It’s a felony. Most adults would grasp the seriousness of what Weev did. Additionally, Weev described what trolling is as being misogynist, racist, bigoted and hateful, got himself a swastika emblazoned on his chest, so effectively “trolling” is Nazism.

Barrett Brown, who here identifies what his role in Anonymous was, providing information warfare, similarly was incarcerated for threatening to harm an FBI agent and his family. He was convicted in 2021 in the UK for causing “Alarm and Distress” simply over threatening to kill people and the police being the target then took that too seriously. Trolling right? The guilty verdict was just a fine, Brown having dodged the higher charges he could have been facing.

And here is Tim Pool who had a film crew led by former Chinese State Media employee Emily Molli positioned to capture Trump’s coup January 6th.

Glenn Greenwald at minimum is a highly supportive asset to Russian desired narratives, leans extensively right on political bias and is controversial.

This was the same image that Remi Barrette used on his alt-Twitter account during the Alfa Bank Trump Tower Wiretap hoax with Mensch, on his Trollfinder_Gen account for her November Heat Street articles.
