Weev Confesses to Hack on Badd Compani's Account
A Series On Misinformation, Disinformation and Subterfuge
The most pathetic flailing performance art of a repeatedly caught-in-the-act hacker, is the failed cover-up afterwards. Here is Louise Mensch’s hacker flunky, Andrew Auernheimer, AKA Weev, very jittery, confessing to being responsible for the Twitter hack that removed Badd Compani’s account for several days when Mensch ordered a number of accounts hacked into and removed.
Besides Weev confessing to one of several connected felony hacks during a binge of purging leftwing voices from Twitter, let’s highlight the sheer incompetence he displayed with his flawed rationale regarding his hack into Kron’s account.
Weev falsely claims Kron’s account was restored fast because of a public outcry despite a clear lack of a public outcry.
Was this outcry on some other far-flung social media platform?
Must have been huge, somewhere, invisible, in order to get a guy in San Fransisco before daylight hours of a Holiday weekend morning to get up, fire up console access, and to reverse such an egregious travesty of justice restoring Kron.
Or
Weev hacked Kron, banned the account, restored the account at a time when it was implausible to be restored, then steered Kron towards another user as a scapegoat citing his and Louise Mensch’s near invisible brigading for reinstatement as ‘proof’ he wasn’t the criminal behind it all.
Those kinds of unforced errors happen when one doesn’t check the local time of the target.
