Matt Shapiro’s popular Politicalmath account demonstrates the simplistic epitome of how easy it is for an Op to lie on Twitter misrepresenting a quote tweet that his readers have a reasonable chance to gloss over or not read at all.
Note no where in Reich’s tweet does it say what Shapiro claims it does. Matt simply says something that isn’t there nor was implied to cause a false association between Reich’s statement and Matt Shapiro’s lie.
How effective was the lie with his intended audience?
Between the two tweets the impressions indicate this was likely a 5-10K impression generator, so moderately effective of a marginal wedging activity. What is wedging? Wedging is a psychological tactic meant to drive separation between a target and their support or potential support group. PsyOps use wedging all the time to isolate a target for further abuse.
While the example above isn’t a perfect wedging example for the more dangerous attacks, all the primary Ops demonstrate the belligerent attack technique regularly frequently pairing that with ableist attacks, part of the scripted suicide ideation. Here are some examples of those types of attacks.
Wedging, which has a profoundly traumatizing effect on most people when paired with additive emotional abuse, causes a victim to become depressed and more open to suicidal ideation.
Here is a more precise example of wedging, this time using a lie to push away support for Rebekah Jones, via the criminal Institute network of PsyOps.
Note the language on the right. The designated purpose of the Institute has been to protect Matt Gaetz, DeSantis, then the GOP seemingly in that order. These Single Purpose Hate Accounts cycling through wedge attacks talking amongst themselves, is part of the authenticity problem Twitter has, far worse than any bot issue. Their hope is to deprive the Jones campaign of financial resources, which was why they organized a conspiracy to deplatform Jones the day before she announced her campaign.
