Twitter Safety Begins to Find Violations, Does Nothing To Protect Users

My friends who I asked to submit reports to Twitter Safety has sent me a large amount of screen shots overnight, all of old filings only now being processed.

Should it take two or more weeks to review a report regarding abuse? The above account is ban-evading under sea_dazzle, has continued to aggressively insult, attack, defame and lie. Twitter was told in each report that this account was sea_dazzle and ban evading in addition to attacking people. That alone means the stated rule for ban evasion isn’t enforced.

One of the above tweets wished death on Texas AG Ken Paxton who is currently awaiting Trial for a 2015 generated Federal indictment. This sort of despicable behavior in the past resulted in a weeks long or permanent suspension.

This attack answered my question regarding his eye oddity. Still wrong.

There were other reports as well for various accounts, with the four most recent all being from the Octopus_teach account. None of the accounts had anything more than a label put over the tweet, with no discernible time that the account was ever locked.

JevenStarvis’s account also had reports, with this one taking two months to process (the fifth report update shown above).

This last one once generated a week long suspension. Again, the offending account was given no perceivable time off-line. Contrast to the inauthentic suspensions of Jim Stewartson, Rebekah Jones or myself where Remi Barrette bypassed published TOS rules triggered a permanent ban meant exclusively for bots. This next report, for a bot linking to child porn, the seventh report from the top, does trigger a ban as it should.

Twitter Safety clearly doesn’t protect its users, nor follow its own stated policies.
