Twitter Endorses Suicide Trolling

A Series on Misinformation, Disinformation and Subterfuge

First, a response to Mr. Maccabee.

In the US state of Minnesota, coordinated online harassment is a crime under state law sections §609.748 and/or §609.749.

Here is what Minnesota resident Mr. Maccabee had to say regarding his recent conduct conspiring with others in sustained coordinated online harassment now reaching well over fourteen months, and his objection to my reporting of the harm he and his other coconspirators has caused to both Mr. Stewartson and myself.

Here is the context in a legal sense. Mr. Maccabee associates with an online group of individuals engaged in coordinated harassment that includes suicide trolling. Over the past year, three individuals have been hospitalized following continual attacks by members of his group to psychologically break down and destroy selected targets None of this is funny, save to Mr. Maccabee, who thinks months long sustained criminal harassment, using known emotively negative power words “Divorced Dad” is acceptable conduct in today’s society. The context of naming Mr. Stewartson and Mr. Jarvis, neither of which are divorced, makes clear the intent to cause psychological harm and to push suicide ideation on Mr. Maccabee’s targets.

This Chirpty captures many individuals with whom Mr. Maccabee has participated with during his extended harassment campaigns. There are also some accounts that are entirely innocent of that within this chart, including a hero counter troll that prevents criminal behavior by standing up to bullying.

Mr. Maccabee was given a cease and desist warning on March 6, 2022, yet he persisted in engaging in illegal defamatory conduct including his April 26th attack on Mr. Jim Stewartson, retweeting the suicide suggestive equivalent of telling his target to kill himself via jumping. This is in addition to most members of the group generating ableism attacks suggesting Mr. Stewartson was unwell, suffered from mental illness and other mental health care related attacks, all recorded and preserved by Mr. Stewartson.

Here again is Mr. Maccabee’s direct explicit criminal participation, amplifying a repeated attack on Mr. Stewartson via retweeting allowing additional impression generation in coordination with others using comments, likes and retweets. As the original image also included my name in the original February 9th tweet, I too am a target of his hate-filled suggestion to kill myself via jumping off a building.

Here is a prior screenshot dated 2/2/22 of Mr. Maccabee admitting to having committed “effort into trolling” Mr. Stewartson.

Consequences always happen, even if delayed, Mr. Maccabee.

Twitter Safety is demonstrably broken, supporting criminal conduct on its platform under the leadership of Yoel Roth

While Twitter explicitly states that neither coordinated harassment campaigns nor pushing others to suicide or self-harm is allowable on their platform, it has generally not enforced most of its stated policies. Indeed, the evidence suggests Yoel Roth has handed over the keys to the very conspirators responsible in coordinated harassment as demonstrated continually in this blog.

An individual was asked to report both accounts, Jan Dexter Bobrowicz and Michael Maccabee detailing in writing the three suicide attempts and one death generally associated with his group’s activities, and giving the accurate contextual meaning of the image posted, amplifying the suggestion Mr. Stewartson go kill himself.

Twitter Safety took more than a day and a half to endorse, as publisher, the illegal conduct of both individuals, as shown below.

Twitter is both complicit and liable for allowing the illegal Gamergate2.0 activities of all the identified accounts frequently reported on, within the KassandraSeven and RoccoCastoro single purpose hate networks that it is seemingly aware of and approving of as publisher hosts rejecting enforcement of their own policies for any of these bad actors.
