"Twitter Doesn't Prevent Suicide"--Elon Musk
A Series on Misinformation, Disinformation and Subterfuge
Never has a truer thing been tweeted by QElon since taking over the front-facing part of the radicalization program Mike Flynn had been doing since signing off with a single word post-insurrection pardon, “Durham.”
Not sure what the message was precisely as the account chief twit attacked, locked. It most likely has to do with this:
At least for some time the feature was removed, perhaps inadvertently. The issue though is what Elon said but should have thought about before posting, that Twitter doesn’t prevent suicide is 100% correct. After all the platform contributed to two factions related to Yonder, one of which led by Louise Mensch pushing a full-grown man to kill himself November 2017, Robert McNeese.
I requested Twitter Files to focus on how Yoel Roth, who was promoted internally to head of Twitter Safety, covered up the company’s apparent complicity in the deadly affair removing all pre-suicide tweets, references, of McNeese, his account, his friend’s interactions with him, the masked stalkers including Doug Stewart and others Louise Mensch has identified still allowed to operate on the system. Yoel Roth did nothing to Mensch’s account, despite her just getting off a week’s long suspension for publicly posting contact information of a target.
Twitter does not prevent suicide. My own reporting had uncovered two specific examples of Yonder operatives that used suicide suggestive attacks, got banned, contacted a mole within Twitter Safety and promptly had accounts restored with one doing so in three minutes. Suicide ideation is part of the trauma for profit model of the platform.
Congress/EU should shut Twitter down, prosecute and fine where appropriate based on the seized data.
Twitter is a crime scene. What better way to finish this off than a quote from convicted felon pardoned by an active one.
Will there be a TwitterFiles on Robert McNeese’s death? I did request one of QElon’s disinformation mules, so we will see.
