Trump Admin Taking Down Access to Weather Reporting Tools May Already Be Killing People
A Series On Misinformation, Disinformation and Subterfuge
The Trump admin effectively killed off over two-million Americans during COVID via intentional negligence, gaslighting, and undermining public health initiatives, is far more ready this time to do even more harm.
Case in point.
Trump doesn’t want Science. Hates it. He Failed the subject as a first-term President given his childlike comprehension abilities noting “water is wet” and other nonsense. Yet when he eliminates the tools needed for local weather reports we will have less national security to prevent catastrophic loss of life.
Like yesterday.
With two dozen confirmed dead, and twenty girls aged 8-9 still to be accounted for, yesterday’s devastating rains in Texas that led to a twenty-foot rise in the Guadalupe River during the nighttime, has caused Trump to pause on his No FEMA for You mantra—more so because Texas than Americans are again dead under his tutelage.
“It’s terrible. The floods? It’s shocking. They don’t know the answer yet as to how many people, but it looks like some young people have died…Oh yeah, we’ll take care of them. We’re working with the governor. We’re working with the governor. It’s a terrible thing.”
Twenty young people along with their counselors are missing. The main adult leader at the site where those children were swept away, has been confirmed deceased. Eight children thus far are confirmed dead. Who should bare blame?
Seriously, WHO should take responsibility for reducing US capabilities for weather forecasting and the trickle-down effects of those decisions that already are causing deaths, mostly in Republican territory?
Who?
Would round-the-clock nationwide monitoring saved these little girls, had Musk and Trump not gutted the programs that were meant to warn of these dangers?
The worst of the flooding hit between 3AM and 4AM.
