Susan Portnoy, the Russian-American working to disrupt Federal elections and traumatize mostly those on the left, has clearly locked on the newest target her handlers feel she can cause mayhem with.
This one is a doozy with the UAW leader’s purported militant rhetoric being something criminal instigators might see as exploitable, while also hoping for economic contagion with the spread of unions taking it to the wealthy elite. This also stands to benefit Tesla, the company owned by Elon Musk, one of the key backers of Portnoy’s KassandraSeven influencer operation, evidenced by her targeting Elon’s ex Amber Heard and leading Elon’s racist false flag bot operation and removal ploy with Canadian hacker Remi Barrette, AKA Ryushi, AKA Tea Leaves, AKA Conspirator0, that Musk cites as “proof” his genius of allowing white supremacists back on Twitter while gutting moderation ended racism. This strike helps the non-unionized Tesla sell more of their at-times self-immolation automobiles, simply by reducing the American competition, particularly in the electric vehicle category. If only to make that point more obvious, Portnoy has added multiple retweets alluding to the reasoning behind her contract.
If the strike lasts months, which I expect given the chasm between expectations and reality from both sides, that does slow the transition to electric vehicles having less of them available to buy. As it is now, there aren’t enough EVs being produced to meet present demand, nor really is America ready or capable of getting off gas/coal as many activists being featured in the news are demanding of Biden in order to get their liberal vote (as per NPR this morning).
Here is the rub.
What the above article names is a left versus left divide pitting workers versus environmentalists. That in a nutshell is a win-win for Elon and his PayPal Mafia buddies as is for Susan Portnoy, Louise Mensch etc. that have targeted liberals far more than those more easily baited into destructive behaviors on the right. It’s also a win-win by causing economic damage, particularly if this becomes a contagion in Liberal states if strikes spread to other industries (Republican held territory is largely immune to workers and their rights, due to anti-union laws).
While I do expect more strikes and economic pain, I do not expect that Susan nor her handlers will find this to be a winning formula for causing chaos, death or that long desired Civil War, despite the clear allocation of fiscal resources hoping it somehow will be. For starters, the UAW president isn’t actually militant, just using the heated Trump-style rhetoric to get attention and concessions, some of which he knows are non-starters like pensions.
Secondly, no one finds Susan Portnoy credible or influential anymore, with her being relegated to a tiny single purpose hate account with an audience of her fellow operatives. Only a few dozen people in the wild will see her, and even those probably long ago tuned her out as a nutcase psycho woman given her constant digital screaming and anger.
Third, the other strike going on may have a dampening effect on other unions interest in walking out on their own employers, especially when actors and writers start having to sell houses they no longer can afford.
Still, it is what it is, Susan having to latch her teeth into an issue hoping to cause harm that Musk and others can benefit off of.
