The media largely has been effectively weaponized by MAGA3x, using democracy’s greatest core strength, the freedom of the press, to subvert truth, sour public perception and gravely damage multiple US institutions. Its compounded effects can be summarized with this simple jarring headline.
That’s public perception, based on curated opinions largely crafted by constant willful non-reporting on one President’s failures while excruciatingly doing the opposite generally making things up about the other, along with amplifying attacks being made by Trump’s allies within MAGA3x blaming Biden for each.
I am an expert on Trump having put in the time and effort to have read or listened to so many of his speeches, interviews, and appearances that I can say how he crafted this ‘alternative fact’ or rather widely-believed yet false impression that his time in office was a success.
It wasn’t.
Biden’s hasn’t exactly been a rip-roaring success either, yet he has not received much credit for saving the economy, record setting job growth, re-establishing the US as a global leader and defender of democracy, human rights, women’s rights, the extended period of domestic peacefulness following four years of toil, pain and domestic suffering as Trump’s allies ran one successful PsyOp after another after another.
Let’s review Trump’s actual accomplishments.
One, Trump appointed three Supreme Court Justices, thus allowing the courts to overturn decades of legal precedent to deny women basic fundamental access to healthcare. McConnell, not Trump, ‘stole’ two of those seats, while Trump is known to have steered a shocked and visibly surprised Kennedy into a side room with the Justice then opting to retire presumably over whatever Trump said to cajole him to.
Two, Trump passed the First Step Act, something Congressional Democrats would agree has been a high priority for them, doing so because it was not only right, but politically beneficial as a narrative vehicle. The Justice Department has for the most part slow-walked the intent of the law, yet still this WAS the best bill passed into law by Trump.
Three, Trump authorized Project Warp Speed, removing barriers to developing and getting COVID vaccines on the market. Frankly, this along with Trump’s lockdowns is where Biden’s media team should ‘praise’ Trump while noting he too would have hastens the process while doing so in a manner that wouldn’t have seen practically the entire US shuttered due to Trump’s wonton intentional incompetence in reacting to the crisis once it was known via Jared Kushner that a disproportionate amount of deaths were among blacks and other minorities. That chosen inaction was passive genocide, though thankfully happened after Trump expedited vaccine access.
That’s really all Trump did that was positive and substantial, while most of his term was marked with stunning incompetence, intentional criminal acts, and full-blown siding with US’s enemies. Much of what he did accomplish as President has been widely detrimental and destabilizing. Let’s review.
Trump made a secret deal prior to his Presidency with Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Egypt. The key component of that was secretly getting MbS nuclear technology and US missile systems capable of surpassing any program Iran had. That violated a slew of Federal laws, a couple noted by Jack Smith in filings despite Trump not being presently charged. This was likely the most substantial devastating act Don the Con did, ensuring MbS and allies are an elevated nuclear threat in addition to a penchant for cutting up US-based journalists.
Trump along with allies generated massive caravans originating in impoverished Central American countries with a well-crafted messaging system that the US was open where all people had to do was come, turn themselves in, get a court date for asylum, and viola, they came. Sure, there was much more to that including purported on the ground ‘activist’ recruiters that may have helped steer smaller groups into the large fifth column masses needed for optics. Still, its undeniable that caravan formation happened first and repeatedly thereafter once Trump began doing and saying how to circumvent a broken immigration system yet to be fixed.
There wasn’t self-crashing airplanes until Trump de-regulated them into existence. That’s right, Trump’s removal of Federal requirements, essentially giving companies the responsibility to administer their own safety processes, led to doors popping off and computer ‘AI’ steering planes suddenly into the ground over a programming glitch Boeing knew about yet hadn’t fixed because that would tie up billions in revenues.
Trump destabilized Afghanistan by having 5000 terrorists released en masse after making a deal with the Taliban. The Taliban then began killing off government, military and police on the outskirts of the country for months radiating around the capitol until the spectacular optics Trump had intended happened under Biden’s term, whom had no good options to deal with it.
I can go on and on in details similar to my book Donald Trump Explained, a Special Education Perspective of the Forty-Fifth President of the United States, into most of Trump’s first two years of moving from one self-inflicted calamity after another. SharpieGate, MAGA3x’s Unite the Right op where Trump ‘both sides’ his support of Nazi Andrew Auernheimer’s work, his harming Puerto Rico during hurricane Maria, along with siding with US’s enemies, blackmailing Ukraine, two impeachments, an insurrection, whatever. Most of those polled want to go back to all that crap simply because Biden can’t undo Trump’s damage that the media has largely reassigned to him.
So where has Biden succeeded besides not creating crisis after crisis that only he could solve as Trump seemingly did on a monthly if not weekly basis for his Fox and Friends colleagues?
President Biden successfully restored US and international confidence in the Presidency and US’s commitment to defending Democracy. He pulled the US economy back from the brink and deftly avoided a post-Covid recession that most of the media instead went on and on about how it was assured. Biden averted multiple land-mine type crises Trump’s team created, and passed the massive infrastructure bill that will invest in actually making America great instead of just co-opting a Nazi era slogan, slapping it on a red hat and selling it as a marketing fascist genius.
