Rocco Castoro, a disgraced journalist that lacks ethics acting more like a mob boss, threatens other journalists, cops, politicians and whomever else that is on his hit list of enemies, still has multiple accounts on Twitter to conduct business as usual. Yeah, Twitter Safety is nonsensical, allowing all this. Here is Rocco’s latest threat:
Here are the accounts that liked the tweet.
To be correct, it is TWO dead bodies, strung up and displayed for onlookers enjoyment. Rocco justifies his putting up this threat regarding unnamed targets with a whataboutism using a news clipping that didn’t include a threat similar to his directed at other people. Context is everything folks. One is reporting, the other is a red flag that the Op might act out violently soon.
If Twitter had a competent and non-compromised team, Rocco would lose his accounts for targeted harassment and threats, with this thread being the final straw.
While it is easy for some people to dismiss threats of violence, namely those accounts that push suicide ideation and engage in other criminal conduct on Twitter and perhaps in the ‘real world,’ these sort of extremist threats are taken seriously by those who still care about democracy, truth and right. Not Twitter Safety. Not Brad. Not the Ops. They are all for seeing others being hurt, so long as it just isn’t them.
While I get that many of the threats Rocco puts out seem nonsensical, they are still threats. Take this one from his other single purpose hate account Rocco, Junior Chimptelpro.
I know of two ways that this would be possible and tremendously cruel. One would involve putting someone in a microwave. The second involves putting someone in a vacuum and sucking out all the air. As Rocco likely doesn’t have access to University level scientific machines like that, he cannot conceivably act out on this specific threat in the way he publishes it on Twitter. It is however, the totality of his behavior that is concerning.
Rocco, whose timeline is full of threats towards other people, is likely going to be protected by Twitter Safety, again, keeping both his account and verified status because the platform has been weaponized for profit against the best interests of its users.
Is the subverse v Rocco clown show still pending?
Gotta chime in again since you’re using the tweet with the photo I took here in Italy to continue to publish your laughable, nonsensical rantings and framings about Rocco because you are both perhaps socially illiterate and mad — if you had read the link you would have known it was about the 1891 New Orleans lynching of 11 Italians after an angry mob was mad that they failed to frame them for the murder of Sheriff Hennessy.
Surely you, a Mormon, might understand the history of lynchings as persecutions in America. But apparently they don’t teach such things at silly madrassas like Brigham Young. (If you are going to liken Rocco to a mob boss your apostate faith and upbringing is absolutely fair game)
