Overestimated Impotence of OperationSparkleMania
A Series On Misinformation, Disinformation and Subterfuge
One of the critically important things I feel that has happened during the time I have been covering the operations of the combined and often competing Mensch and Stewart networks, is the significant drop off in their productivity. Here is one example of the ludicrousness of what they feel they have to do in order to slow down my investigations, Brad Shuttleworth’s Twitter Spaces attendance.
Only five Brad?
Susan Portnoy, whose tweet shown below, then retweeted by herself, has more wide exposure than Shuttleworth does.
Susan Portnoy’s KassandraSeven account, once capable of a quarter-million impressions per tweet, is an immensely damaged asset. She built it up, similar to indicted Doug Stewart pal Douglas Mackey’s RickyVaughn, specifically to PsyOp and harm people conducting social media influence operations, save she was trying to infiltrate leftwing movements while he rightwing.
OperationSparkleMania, a visually disruptive pink sparkly PsyOp Susan Portnoy began, has like #teampillowforts effectively run its annoying course with fewer of the accounts hash-tagging or changing profile pics to blend in, slow down my research given visual blurring distortions caused by scrolling so many similarly colored follows and was mildly annoying in presentation. Glad to see some of the accounts are shifting back.
Let’s review.
The hashtag sort of trended as seen here for the operation type hashtags, save it wasn’t relevant or actually trending.
OperationJane, another hashtag that was being parlayed by an adjacent team attempting to co-op a hashtag movement over abortion, was also in limited effect at the same time. If one looks at either trend as of this posting on Hoaxy, the OperationJane hashtag has four nodes (64 Tweets), while OperationSparkleMania (1 tweet) has a single one with four total accounts showing over the past seven days. Several of the participants finally dropped the pink, no longer in it for the “cause.”
Yeah, it made me ‘super big mad,’ hence my not mentioning it save once, and waiting until it was no longer mentioned with most of the smaller accounts going back to a less visually disturbing profile pic. Clearly, some of the “family” no longer feels it needs to be supportive of each other.
While at the time, getting a major PsyOp like Lucien Greave’s Satanic Temple’s reliable amplifier Mike Rothschild to alter his account, that was the extent of how far something bothersome could extend.
Until it briefly got Suicide Troller pioneer, Nazi OpEd writer Fred Brennan to suit up (He has since returned to fetid green)
What happened to this less than eight weeks subplot, is like most of the tomfoolery these cagey PsyOps came up with, fizzled in interest, unsustainable given the size and scope of competing interests within the group.
