This is problematic.
Having control over the platform allows Musk to be seen, and be the only one. Months ago I did a CHIRPTY of Musk when I knew Musk had control but not ownership of Twitter where the company already allowed him to manage his data. That CHIRPTY was of just him in the center with no shown interaction. I shared it knowing it had deeper implications.
Musk had control of Twitter before he offered to buy it.
Another example of problems is shown here:
Sounds crazy save mass reporting scripts can kill a thread by monitoring and attacking any accounts that amplify, causing the victim to be restricted on their next action.
Here is what somebody intentionally railroaded that Ben said:
Here is Ben with more victims “of retweeting Collins” sharing their stories:
Twitter is far more exploitable in its current state, something Elon intended for only himself.
Not only can Elon make accounts vanish into fascist made echo chambers, he or others can snip off a threat’s reach targeting the amplifier accounts.
For the record, I'd only been in Twitville a few months. Only after Trumputin was kicked out. I was sharing Jim and your stuff after you both got banned. Woke up one morning and was Banned Permanently. They had me smack in the middle of a Chirpty Jim posted on Substack too. I realized then where I belonged. 😉
No doubt in my mind that algos and promoted tweets have changed. My feed is full of Elmo-stans.
