It was from frequent comments by Matt, Rocco, Octopus I first heard of the website and the terminology without ever knowing what those terms mean. One of those I took as a word play for locals, meaning to me the people that live on the website, meant target, a term I just learned this past week.

Here was a rather interesting recent thread which included Susan Portnoy who not too surprisingly knew the meaning.

Personally, I avoid the far right message boards as Twitter itself is where Susan, Matt, Mike, Fred and others are launching suicide suggestive attacks.

Lolcow is clearly specific language to suicide trolling culture, as Portnoy noted, explaining why all the suicide ops knew this, whereas I didn’t.
