The malignant nature of a Kassandra Seven troll farm feeding frenzy is quite the thing to behold, or rather not to behold after a couple hours has past and the feasting is done. As seen in the screenshot above, the clean-up crew goes in with bonesaws, acid and delete buttons to take care of and dispose of all the bodies and evidence that would link them to what they did. Some even changed their account names/fingerprints so as not to be readily linked, gearing up for the next researcher or journalist they are assigned to harass.
What is particularly alarming and not precisely unique to this Op, is the high degree to which the main single purpose attack account, Kassandra Seven, has effectively weaponized misogyny, feigning to be a damsel in distress in need of saving and protection. It’s very similar to the technique Tara Reade’s PsyOp is using with the Listen to the Women trope despite her having been fully listened to, where the whole schtick is to exploit people via highly emotive behavior while muddying the water so much those they recruit won’t even realize what they are signing up for. That is to attack people.
In my last piece, I mentioned how I was the one setting the rules, meaning the rules of engagement. To a paid operative that weaponizes misogyny, stuff like this (the more tame stuff said by these key accounts) is the result:
Yes, Kassandra, whose poorly photoshopped “dog” featured in my earlier pieces, enjoys every minute of her power trip that I allow her to have. I am satisfied because giving her what she wanted, moved me further towards my own objectives, that primarily being to get her to engage to better educate myself on their overall PsyOp. Much of these psychological mind games involve directing behavior towards mutually desired goals, without the mark realizing they are being led. That means what I did, was all part of two different games, my game versus their team of flunkies, and their game of malign, defame and project the blame, for which many of them presumably are being paid for, only we were going to play just my intended game instead of theirs.
One of those things I have already shared during this series is that I was a former professional Magic the Gathering Player, a moderately well-known one at the time, especially in the Western half of the United States. My tourney highlights as a gamer included two State Championships, one in Utah 1999, the second Arizona 2002, two Mountain Regional Championships (1998, 2008), a Pro Tour top-8 (Charleston 2006), and being “SteveGrinderJarvis” the first person to win three US opens and doing so when that required going undefeated in single elimination high-stakes settings.
I didn’t just win at MTG, I did so with style often removing everything from my opponent’s side of the board, or locking stuff completely down to a point that only I, not my opponent, could still cast spells and progress to winning the game and match. I also was a world top-50 D&D miniatures player, again deploying strategies that “broke” game mechanics expertly to my advantage generally having control over the entire board after only the second round of any match has been completed. That is what I do in games.
So how does one take THAT level of game domination to this aptly named Game of Trolls?
First I set the rules.
That meant I decided beforehand which of the main recycler accounts I would allow into the match by going through threads and preemptively blocking many sock accounts and high volume impression generators. Most of these malignant accounts are small, with low follower volumes, but can spam the conversation with impressions, likes, retweets, comments, and slow my side of the conversation down. Because these accounts are interconnected, whether socks, paid operatives, or just casual followers she hoped to recruit for a targeted social media attack frenzy, I assume she would be receiving and having to go through copious amounts of data via notifications just to move her pieces on the board.
Prior to the match, I also decided which sock account, meaning one that had the exact behavior, language and tactics that identified her as likely operated by the Kassandra Seven account, that also happened to be a mutual follower of mine, following me likely the same day K7 first sent the emoji engagement. That would be Octopus.
For the record, Octopus denies being Sue.
At the time of this engagement, Octopus was just shy of 400 followers so shouldn’t be too noteworthy in such a sprawling integrated operation; however, based on my impressions after looking through many of the core networked accounts branching off the central cog K7, Octopus, even for a minor account, was very highly operative, commingling with all key players at a similar interaction rate to the core KassandraSeven.
I chose this particular starting point, because Oct is disparaging the credibility of a prominent leftwing verified account I assume most resisters are tuned into. I also knew the context of the original tweet, and could therefore say something authoritative initializing engagement as I was currently perceived by the troll farm, as an “expert” in exposing disinformation.
As an aside, I do not claim as of yet to be an expert in the field of disinformation, with only four years of independent work completed I don’t beleive I have as yet earned that distinction from colleagues. I do however, mark myself as an expert in behavior analysis, because I have conducted well over 500 clinical behavior observations and countless other applied behavior analysis and other related documents during my overly long career in Special Education.
One key feature to K7s op that I already pointed out without naming, is the troll to control method of recruitment. Here Oct is disparaging the primary target, Jim, in an effort to win me over with a so-not persuasive argument that somehow Jim Stewartson did something he hadn’t done.
Word Salad, which is an idiosyncratic form of speech often leaving out vital clues needed for comprehension, is actually one of those red flags for a Spectrum Disorder. While in regular oral communication, I have a tendency to do this similar to Trump who always does, I am aware of my being neurodiverse, Autistic, proud of whom I am, and know how to be abundantly clear when I am speaking. Because of that penchant for being a wordsmith, I intentionally drop in clues, that are meant for a select audience of listeners who “get” the drop’s fuller meaning.
This protect Mike Flynn from further exposure appears to be the primary reason this troll farm even exists.
At the time of Jim getting off-lined by this social networked PsyOp, he had been doing pretty in-depth work into exposing Flynn’s various militarized and recruitment operations. One such piece described how the pardoned felon in public totally ripped off an theosopic prayer, to appeal and radicalize those consumed by the Q-Anon drugs these bad actors are pushing. By tying various groups that would so not normally associate with each other, like evangelicals and Satan worshippers, using ever-increasingly extremist cult-leveled content, run through a normalization laundering and conjoining them, something definitely dangerous is happening. Jim was and still is, the one independent journalist who is most on top of that aspect of Flynn.
Octopus and I did a little bit of cat and mouse on her opening disinformation salvo regarding Jim. I wanted context. She wanted none, just accept what she gives as the honest gospel. I knew it was bunk, would shelve it for later when I could go over it, and pressed forward.
When I looked through the Octopus account during my prep work, K7 and Oct were interacting on a regular basis with not just each other but with other core integrated accounts. I recall them being a mutual follow, and pointed that out to her in this conversation, to which Oct mockingly denied that they ever were following each other.
While I didn’t know whom would jump into the game, I was ready to decouple “wild” accounts, addressing them directly to make a point with language heavily layered in deeper contextual meaning.
There is also deeper hidden meaning to some of the things I am saying here, essentially telling those who got the context of my previous one-word tweet “legion” and my defining ditto here, that I knew Octopus to be one and the same as KassandraSeven. I also am using truth. Nothing I said in any of our exchanges was a lie, because lies are so much harder to keep track of, people who use them constantly trip, lying more just to keep up the subterfuge.
Onesecondname, though, is a prime attack account deployed to weaponize misogyny on behalf of the org, and as such was designed to continue to engage while others were easily shunted out of the overall conversation.
As a humorous aside, the whole time her account would wiz on by throughout this first-time conversation, the slanted profile pic looked to me like a cowboy hat with her hair at the top of the pic, looking like a hat’s brim on my small screen. I mistakenly thought this was a male “protector” account instead of the generic misogyny attack spreader this one later turned out to be, part of the mean girl gossip cliche.
The whole point of exposing an operation’s bad actors, their techniques, and traps, is so others can recognize what they are doing, and then be able to steer clear. Call out every lie. Point to their behavior and why it is unacceptable. These are things I did whenever I had to investigate an incident at school. It’s the same thing happening here online, though these are adults acting like the mean girls deflecting, obfuscating and always demeaning victims.
I am sure it was particularly frustrating for K7/Oct to not be able to call in reinforcements. Note the low interaction rates on either account for likes, retweets, etc. This screen grab was a full week after the exchange, showing off that I was indeed able to control the board, restricting her access to summoning her best recruits, socks, and compatriots. This game is definitely not Pokemon Kassandra, and I no Jigglypuff.
