The big story yesterday was all about Ye, a troubled man that the far-right has found as a useful tool to push off negative headlines absorbing much of the media focus with spectator created performative stunts.
This one was a whopper, with Alex Jones hosting the artist formerly known as Kanye West, and being shocked at how evil Ye is. Sheer performative B-S-.
Later stuff spilled onto Twitter, where Elon Musk also put on a performance, suspending the antisemitic hatemonger as a public testament that Elon will not put up with others doing the very thing that Elon has been doing for over a month on Twitter.
Here is some of the performance.
I have read Mildred Taylor’s classic, Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry many times, remarking how evil it was to see TJ who is a young black teen, suckered in by two white boys for all sorts of tom-foolery, only to eventually break-in at night, rob and unexpectedly kill a white store owner. It is only TJ who sits on trial as his manipulators and coconspirators who were the smart ones wearing masks that night, testify against him. Elon Musk above is doing that same thing, with only the black man taking the brunt of what they are all doing collectively.
At the top of the replies to Musk on one of these threads was this “verified” account that simply subscribed to Twitter Blue and paid homage to Emperor Twit, Elon Musk.
That account, like much of what Elon Musk has been posting on his feed, is an image, or rather double image of hate. The top layer is a groyper image, Pepe the frog, one of many Neo-Nazi antisemitic iconography curated and normalized on Twitter. The underlying layer, also pulled from racist Chan iconography, is a psychologically twisted crudely drawn face without ears, meant to cause disturbed feelings in its viewers. This screenshot given below, which I had to scroll past many inauthentic and racist twitter blue verified accounts to find giving Elon praise, had less impressions than the racist antisemitic one above.
So why all the performative actions?
It was already known that the Joel Greenberg sentencing was happening on December 1st, which begins a perilously bad stretch for the Republican Party. For starters, Greenberg is known to have approached Roger Stone to buy himself a pardon. The circumstances of that one are not fully known publicly, particularly on how that was arranged. What we do know is whatever that was was discussed with prosecutors and a grand jury as part of a plea deal.
It wasn’t just Joel seeking to buy a pardon, but also his buddy that sex-trafficked a child with him, Representative Matt Gaetz, who has not as of yet been charged with anything.
That pardon stuff might be a very big deal, seeing as that would unravel the entire backend of hastily post-insurrection pardon’s Trump sharpied his “John Barron” all over saving his elite group of loyalist co-conspirators from prison time. While there were other big news items like Trump losing his special master he never should have been granted, the ramifications of what is likely next tied to Joel Greenberg is potentially catastrophic to everything previously done.
Why?
If you think Joel and his 33 nexus’s of crime was big, what about that of the next domino to fall, being Matt Gaetz who is similarly facing mandatory minimums if charged for some of the shared crimes, despite the lie Chuck Johnson appears to be responsible for, pushed into the New York Times that the child sex trafficking was no longer being pursued over an election deadline concern. When Gaetz is eventually charged, things will rapidly get even wilder in the press and on the PsyOp stages wherever they might be, as flooding the zone is all these people seem to have got left.
